Missions Quotes
Prayer is the one mission to the world that all Christians can share. Through prayer any of us can directly love the unreached, even to the ends of the earth. As far as God can go, prayer can go.

Seedtime and harvest are tied together in a sure knot.

WHO WILL GO?

Mission trip? Travel to a foreign country where they don’t speak English? Not too sure if that’s for you? You are not alone. Many people who would love to go on a mission outreach trip will say to us, “I don’t think I’m ready, maybe next year,” or the ever popular, “I want to go, but I can’t afford it.” Maybe you are undecided about taking a step out of your comfort zone to travel to a foreign country to serve others. That’s ok. There is a way you can help.
Most people who go on mission trips with CMI have raised their expense money on their own by telling family and friends and asking for sponsorship. You can help someone go on a mission trip with your donation. It will be your way of helping the Gospel reach the four corners of the world where you may never go; so remember “we will go for you!”
Missions Scripture
So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives, and he who seeks finds, and to him who knocks it will be opened.
(Luke 11:9-10)
And let us not grow weary while doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

Ministry to the Body of Christ
The challenge facing the church of Christ around the world is becoming increasingly heightened. The work of the Spirit is bringing tens of millions of people annually to a dramatic knowledge of Christ. Even so, over two billion inhabitants of our planet have yet to receive an opportunity to declare Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
Despite this sweeping work of God, the Church is not experiencing the power of the Christian life. While unprecedented numbers are making personal decisions, they are not becoming disciples. The church is stagnated in many parts of the globe, due to crippling lack of spiritual maturity. We must ask ourselves how much longer will this dynamic outpouring of the grace of God continue if we fail to develop believers into the fullness of Christ?
Into this challenging period, God has called CMI to address the issue of bringing maturity and strength to the body of Christ. The impact of their ministry is literally felt around the world every day.
Over a decade ago they recognized the tremendous need to export the knowledge and resources of the western church to the emerging countries of the world.
First, consider that in 1900 only 10% of all Christian resided outside the western world. Today it is estimated that over 75% of Christians will be outside countries of the west. With this understanding, the Hoods' worldwide teaching ministry to pastors and laity gains new meaning.
Christian Ministries International is a non-denominational force both within and outside of North America. We are able to facilitate much of our work independently through para-church groups and with World Mission-Brazil! Our skills in discipleship development are sought in over 50 countries. Many of the materials used in this teaching effort are prepared in 14 languages and translated into untold others.
